Wonderful! Ms. BGW would also like the crone-spider-spinner-of-tales-spinner-of-Fate angle, too.

I just realized the other day that I do indeed have the body of a goddess---The Venus of Willendorf. Fortunately, my face and chest are less bumpy.

did you know mrs walker doesn't knit anymore?

M-H said...

I think she does still knit every day, according to an interview I read a couple of years ago. She just doesn't design or collect stitch patterns or intend to publish any more.

I "tune in" every time I go online - and this time you made me burst out laughing loud enough everyone in the house came to find out what was going on ---
and just as FYI - I spent last night pouring thru my copy of Walker to determine which patterns I'm going to lift for my next shawl
Couldn't face the day without you Franklin.

Franklin, thank you EVER so much for a wonderful bit of art.

It doesn't have to go anywhere else; its existence here is plenty fine. As are you and what you do.

Hugs,

Oh, Franklin, this is great! Could I ask one teeny, weeny, thing? Could you put an index of your cartoons up? I had to go all the way through your archives to figure out what the balls of yarn in the bar were talking about!

Thanks!

Ruth

Dolores! Please talk to Franklin, and ask him, beg him, to put the spider design on a t-shirt, a mug, a tote bag, cards.... Oh heck, put it on anything that doesn't move. Move, Dolores! Move!

This one is gonna keep me giggling for days. I know what I want for Christmas. (Well, a Schacht Reeves, but I might as well ask for good government.)

Can it say "damned" instead?

Her son got a kick out of it and will forward it on via hard copy, since she has an aversion to computers. He notes she really likes spiders.

Christene / Sheepspyjamas said...

OMG -- that's great! T-shirt me too, please!

Franklin, I'm with the person who said to put this on anything that doesn't move. What a FABULOUS in-joke! I would wear/carry it proudly!
