Loretta

You may not know that the chief residents of our little household are all on Twitter. I am @franklinhabit. Dolores is @doloresvanh. Harry is @yarnpoetharry.

That was how I found out about our newest resident. She's still here.

I thought that was a picture of someone pouring caramel out of a saucepan. I think it's really neat looking and quite wonderful.

I think it must be very fun to live at your house. And you even welcome vegans!

Bwahahahaha! I want a Loretta, too!

I don't know about Loretta. She's gonna be hard to knit for.

I suspect she and Dolores are going to share lap dancing tips. You're right to be cautious.

I must say that Harry has good taste. But that's not tooo surprising since he is a friend of the Queen. I hope Loretta doesn't find living with Delores too stressful. - Joe-in Wyoming

Hi, Loretta.

C'mon Franklin give the girl a chance, you might find she knits or sews or something? Fine yarn with plenty of drape on fairly large needles I'm guessing judging by her current outfit.

...but I'm not about to go twittering...even though Twitter has a new home on Market Street herre in San Francisco!

Loretta looks like a good listener.

With just a wave of her right arm she puts out one serious force field. I can see why Harry was smitten.

Tell Harry that I will give him $8.00 for her. Double his money and Dolores can use the bucks at the movie concession stand.

She looks more like a Nora to me. When I see her I think "Thin Man."

Well of course she's still there - where else would she go?

I thought Loretta was a sculpture of an ear so I have to agree with the poster, Tamar, above me that Loretta looks like a good listener.

Charming roommates, but maybe if you let him get a dog, the dog will take to Loretta and solve the problem.

Upon seeing Loretta, I immediately thought of the the Art Deco statue in the lobby of the Rand Tower in Minneapolis.

Here, see for yourself:

I think Loretta is lovely. Enjoy your addition to the family :)

You might want to check the base and see if that is a Van Briggle (what a family name) piece. If Loretta IS a Van Briggle she is worth a whole lot more than the $4 you paid.

My parents took me to the factory as a kid and the beauty of the pottery has always stuck with me.

Check it out: www.vanbriggle.com
