On the seventh day of Christmas, Dolores gave to me
seven kegs a-brimming,
six queens sashaying,
five Highland Flings,
four letter words,
three clenched men,
two hurtled jugs,
and a party that lasted 'til three.
(Happy New Year, everybody, and thank you all for your support, encouragement and good cheer through a thrilling and often scary 2008. I hope 2009 will bring peace and abundance to all of us! Love, Franklin)

Like we believe that Dolores would GIVE you seven kegs...riiiiiight...
Love you Franklin...keep it up in 2009!
Much love for your new year!
Ow - poor Harry.
Hope 2009 is wonderful; and it was lovely to meet you in 2008.
Oh, those are KEG handles! My bad. I must get new glasses in 2009. ;-)
Merry Happy, Franklin!
Doesn't she know already you don't like beer?!?
Happy new year and thank you for all the laughs :)
You helped to make my 2008 much better, Thank you! I look forward to every mornings' look see! Happy 2009! Here is to your continued success!
A very Happy New Year--may your threads continue to lead you to new adventures.

And a happy and wonderful 2009 to you!
Best wishes to you & yours in the New Year!

My NYE ritual is to make a list of all the outgoing year's good stuff, and burn it; make a list of all the outgoing year's bad stuff, and burn it; and make a list of all my wants for the incoming year, and burn it. I made my lists in the order of how things came to mind, and you, Franklin, were #2 of 36 items of good for 2008. Had 10 baddies and a few wants for 2009, but really, you were a true highlight of 2008. Thank you. PS: my word verification letters spell my last name to the first five letters....a good sign somehow for 2009? --- Mindy from ABQ
Oh, Franklin, whatever will you do by the twelfth day? Poor Harry looks as though he'd like a good soak in Soak. Thank you so much for allowing us to follow along with your adventures--1,000 Knitters, The Book, and the ever-lovely (and lucky) Abigail and her parade of stunning handknits. You make my day regularly, and I'd lay money that I'm not the only one. Thank you so much, and a happy, healthy New Year to you and yours.

Harry looks pretty happy; maybe this mug of beer is for him?
Thanks for a great year (and a good book).
P.S. I did get my badge and letter for hosting Dolores! Thanks!
2008 never has finished so wonderfull and 2009 has never started so wonderfull.
With love for you and Darling D from DutchJan
You are definitely a part of my yearly "TO DO" list - any year without you, Harry, and yes even Dolores would be a year without sunshine. Have a Great Year -all of you!
Only Dolores could defy gravity so magnificently!
Happiest of New Years to you and yours, Franklin! Thank you for the laughs (and occasional tears) your blog gave me in 2008, as well as the laughs from your "little book".
So.........can we expect another book in 2009??!???
Wishing you much love and joy....
Blessings on you and the crew for 2009. You give so much "happy" to so many people, so keep on keeping on!
Brimming with what? I know she loves her cosmos but would she leave any alcohol for someone else?
Happy New Year, hon.
Happy New Year! I hope it's a great one for you :)
Presumably empty kegs....
happy new year and thanks for everything....
Ok, all I can say, the kegs won't be full very long with Delores around!!
Thank you for this wonderful Christmas present, Franklin!

(PS my verification is pyrove... I spin. Coincidence? Probably...)
A merry, joyful, peaceful and prosperous 2009.
Being math geeks, we can't help but point out that in the song, you get the most of the sevens and the sixes... that'd be a total of 42 queens and kegs over the twelve days. Sounds just about perfect. :)
I love these; thanks!
I have this strange feeling Dolores would get on terribly well with the rugby team ;-)
And Happy New Year to you - thanks for the humor, and insight, the book, and the sock yarn colorway that I LOVE in 2008!
I fully agree with whatever thing you have presented.
Usually I don't read article on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very forced me to take a look at and do it! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thanks, quite nice article.

You laugh at me for being gw2 gold different, but I laugh at you for being the same. Experience gw2 gold is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson gw2 gold afterwards. Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there.
