Sometimes, You Get Lucky

I regret extremely that I'm too swamped to write anything myself today, but I would like to direct you, please to this entry in which it is demonstrated once again that I have the world's best sister and that she married a superior specimen of American manhood.

(Note to self: Do not leave brother-in-law alone with Dolores at Christmas.)

Franklin- your family has been blessed with two truly nice and very talented people. Thank to you and Sue for all of your sharing.

So, is Dolores going to Pride this weekend? If she wants to fly out to San Francisco, she'd be welcome to join me and my sweetie at the SF Pride parade, which has the distinction of being the Largest Parade in the World. (I'm bragging, I know.) I realize that neither of you know me, but how bad an influence could I be on her? She'd be more than welcome to spend the night, too. I make a mean hay omelet.

I was just browsing the pride pics from last year and if that is the same C you still talk about- you're a very lucky guy! Hope you get some time to relax and maybe spin or knit. What a wonderful trip- thanks for sharing!

Thanks for tipping me off to Sue's Pride pics (though I would have worked my way around to them eventually). Work prevented me from attending, so I've had to live vicariously through everyone else's photos. I think Sue's the only one who snapped a pic of the beagle, though.

Franklin, thanks for the link to Sue's blog. Makes me want to move to Maine!

Franklin I started reading your blog after following a link from a friend's blog, and I have been really enjoying it. But your sister's post is incredible, and you are so lucky to have a great brother-in-law as well! I for one am glad to have "met" some of your family.

P.S. I can't wait to hear about Dolores and the parade.
