This Whole Sheep Thing Is Getting Out of Control

You know what the problem with drawing sheep is? I keep falling asleep on my sketchbook.

Ha, ha. A joke.

No such thing as too many Franklin sheep!

Other knitbloggers we demand, well, knitting from. Or writing about knitting. But you? Show us a doodle with sheep doin' stuff and we romp away happy.

I am so in love with your sheep--the faces are priceless and their antics wonderfully charming. I agree with the others who say there's no such thing as too many "Franklin sheep."

They are such cute sheep. Keep 'em coming. We are obviously easy to please.

If you are bored, though, you could draw other breeds than these cotwold-scottish blueface-perendale or whatevers. How about Navajo churro sheep or mohair goats or Lincoln longwools?

Besumpau!

i love it but i can sure see that pool going dry; i've heard that wool can absorbe up to five times it's weight in water....LOL...when you put out the franklin sheep a day daytimer i'll buy one for all my friends !

I do love your sheep but that one has got to be my favorite.

that is just adorable, it definitely brought a smile :)

Love the sheep, but my heart still goes out to Marge. Put Marge on a black canvas bag next edition, and I'm in. (Marge on one side, bonus sheep on the other? Please?)

tsk, P.U.! Horrendous joke.

Good thing that one diving sheep's face is so jubilant as you've saved yourself from your own stank there.

And you've forced me to dip into my spinning wheel fund now as I go peruse your shop. I am weak, you are strong. **sigh**

Now you need to draw haughty cashmere goats sneering down their noses at the lowly sheep. That would be cool.

oooooooh, what lovely sheep.

All that is missing is a panel of judges to score the sheep diving. I'd give that sheep at 9.0 for form and execution! I love your drawings. Keep em' coming!

I second Colleen's cashmere goat idea. I love the sheep. I mean, your illustrations of the sheep.

Just wanted to be clear about that.

I must be a bit slow because I had to read your post twice and then think about it! But then I laughed - it was just what I needed today Franklin - thank you.

Please, you realize you're posting to knitters and spinners and you say the sheep drawings are "out of control"?
We are clearly a people who cannot get enough sheep in our lives.

I have to say, Lee Ann, I love the Little Prince reference.

I've just discovered Marge who is screamingly funny. (I've been on holidays.) I'm wearing my "two needles" T shirts to death but nonknitters don't really get them, and laugh politely. So sad for them.

If you think those silly sheep are the cutest thing you've ever seen, you've never met Franklin in person.

With all these sheep drawings, I think Franklin has hair-envy or something.
