For All Those on Holiday Knitting Deadlines

Remember: each completed 210 stitch row brings you 1/8 of an inch closer to completion!

Shouldn't you be knitting right now? What are you doing reading blogs?

Thank you, cheerleading sheep! You're so cute, I may have to curl up and die. :)

PS. I finished my holiday knitting last night. Olley olley oxen free!!!

Reading blogs because I can't knit at my desk?

Thanks for the encouragement!

*Ahem* What are you doing writing blog entries, Mr. I Have a Ruana to Finish!

The sheep are just too cute. Would love to see more of them.

How many inches do you have left on the Ruana??

If I wasn't reading blogs, I'd be knitting socks for myself. Not sure how it is thatI can be motivated to knit socks for me but not socks for my BIL (who I really like). The sheep are great. (and so was your bit on Brenda's podcast which I listened to today)

I LOVE the sheep! Thanks for the cheer.

Some take coffee breaks, I take blog breaks. The cheerleading sheep are great!

Oh great - ya sound like my mother. That wet, buzzing sound is the prodigious raspberry I just sent in your direction :)

OK, you wretch. Be a wiseass.

I never tell a soul that I'm giving them anything knit. That way, I'm under NO obligation whatsoever.

So I can read any blog any time. And knit while I do it, too.

Nyah.

How do you know I can't read blogs and knit at the same time? I can't, but you don't know that. Well, now you do. Dorothy (Missouri Star)

I can knit, read, AND drink a glass of wine at the same time.

I think I want a girlie tee of those sheep. Just to get me through next summer. I've been invited to spin with Ted and the gang and I can't because I'm kind of busy having my skull opened up. I. Can't. Do. It.

But if you tell me I can, well...okay, alright, what the hell.

Back to the three pairs of fuzzy feet and the hooded scarf. Certifiable.

I'm reading and knitting, honest, do you know how many stitches there are in the average bloddy sock - what was I thinking!

I know this tactic...
Stop avoiding your knitting.

Lee Ann, I would give up Christmas to spin with Ted and his gang. In fact, I might offer up my first born.

She's 36, though. And an adolescent at heart.

There is a story about a knitter driving to Meg's Swansen's Knitting Camp who was steering her car with her knees. Her hands were in use, because she was kntting. (Meg doesn't condone driving like that.)

I think about this every time someone tells me the joke about the blonde who gets stopped by the cop. He pulls alongside her and shouts "Pull over" to get her to stop, and her reply is "No. Cardigan!"

The deadline to get a project finished for show'n'tell at Camp is only slightly worse than that at Christmas. There's usually someone who ends up dressing a shawl in their hotel room the night before they are to present. The cleaning staff must keep wondering why they find pins in the beds.

I know spindle spinners who spin while waiting for pages to load in their browsers.

That's right--always thinking in inches!! "STOP THE MADNESS!" As a matter of fact, I've knocked out 2 mobius scarves this week. One left to go.

Ha ha, you're right!

Love those sheep.

I bake, I don't knit. And I'm terribly behind at this point.

Ack. You're right I should be knitting. However, my 7 year old son has been begging me to teach him to knit so that he can make a sweater. Doesn't that mean I should drop everything and teach him? I can't let this opportunity go to waste. I even thought of keeping home from school...but I need to work (and KNIT!!!)
