Lurching Toward Epiphany: Day Eleven

On the eleventh day of Christmas, Dolores gave to me

Day Eleven

eleven units responding,
ten words of warning,
nine neighbors ringing,
eight shameless encores,
seven kegs a-brimming,
six queens sashaying,
five Highland Flings,
four letter words,
three clenched men,
two hurtled jugs,
and a party that lasted 'til three.

Thanks for the giggle. I hope Dolores survives to Epiphany.

BTW - my word verification is horrisms - it just looks dirty and kind of Dolores like.

Possibly a gazillion people have asked this, but could you do a short run of these mounted up together for framing?

Mind you, getting them to the UK by post could be interesting!

Your drawings of Dolores always hit my funny bone. Must be the way she's always doing the unexpected, and usually inappropriate! Thanks!

  7. I have a horrible suspicion that day 12 is going to involve us all having to chip in to bail Dolores out of jail. On second thought, Franklin, maybe you should just leave her in the hoosegow for awhile.

  8. I am nervously awaiting Delores final exploit for Day Twelve....

And thanks for the laughs! It's been grey and dreary here. Your drawings brighten things up considerably. But, I *am* looking forward to the normal blog entries. (hint, hint)

There is a french acadian version of that song playing on the radio and calling for lobster, smoked herring, six-packs ... Can't wait to hear your version on the radio next Christmas.

Am I the only one singing while reading the blog?

i'm sure it's too much to expect the shameless sheep-hussy dolores to give you twelve heartfelt apologies . . .

This series is super... maybe you could create a card for sale for next Christmas (It would have to be one of those mini-booklets, but it would be a card and a gift in one!)
    Happy New Year Franklin!
