Sending you one of my Great-grandmother's hot toddies.
Cup of hot tea Lemon and Sugar/Honey to taste One Shot of whiskey (your choice) Mix and Drink Repeat as needed nightly
GUARANTEED to knock you on your butt and get a good night sleep. She swore by them, had one each night, and lived to be 97. I can't remember her ever sick.
Feel better soon, we miss the updates and the glimpses into your world.
Sending healthy energy your way. May you feel wonderful with the whole weekend to revel in, and then still feel fine on Monday. In the mean time, tell that silly sheep to bring you more tea
As if ....... you are so not sick, your just coming down from your Harlot vist. She tires me out too. I know , I know no sympathy here. No warm fuzzies from Denny, I just setting myself up for getting flamed, for my bad attitude (and spelling). chin up cupcake.
Feel better soon! I agree with D. Brannon - Dolores playing doctor? ::pales:: Or oh god, offering a massage--! Quick, someone send poor Franklin the sheep shears. ::sending healthy vibes::
Oh, please rest and get better! We have spent the past month beginning with the flu 3/24 and morphing into pneumonia for my husband and 86 year old mother, who lives with us. She ended up in the hospital for a week, and is now in rehab, briefly. Simultaneously, I was healing the stump on a black rescue sheep, Kali Baa (perhaps a relative of Dolores?), who lost a foot. I lost a goat two weeks from kidding to P.Tenuis, and I've been treating a traumatic eye injury of unknown origin on our pony. Too much! Take care of yourself. Sleeping and moaning allowed.
You didn't by any chance recently name Dolores as beneficiary on your life insurance, did you? You might want to skip that "special, soothing almond tea" she's offering you at night.
Ick. I feel for you. It got me, too. All semester, I managed to avoid all the snot-embued classmates, until last week. *sigh* Let's all get better soon now, heah?
I'm reading a book, Later, At the Bar by Rebecca Barry and came across this line: "he spent the rest of the time in his apt watching TV and crocheting, a skill he'd picked up in jail." Good to know that not only knitting is taught in jail.

Maybe Dolores will bring you over a kind, handsome, smart medical professional who believes in the laying on of hands and wants to learn how to knit.
