I've seen where knobs eventually chipped big round holes into the plaster. The doorknob cover was eventually replaced by a nifty invention that was a rubber bumper on a post that was screwed into the baseboard to keep the door from opening that far. (Yeah, I'm that old and it was in the sixties.) This was the only purpose that I ever knew of for a doorknob cover, although there are poeple who like to decorate anything with a doily or a bit of whimsy.emelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901468.post-49116079004094734402010-02-19T17:35:36.743-05:002010-02-19T17:35:36.743-05:00I just got my interweave knits in the mail, and TH...I just got my interweave knits in the mail, and THERE YOU ARE!!! right on page 7! and Delores of course :-)Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05378991227372443475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901468.post-55822527662177637032010-02-19T09:51:55.170-05:002010-02-19T09:51:55.170-05:00Hello Franklin just saw you in latest issue of Int...Hello Franklin just saw you in latest issue of Interweave Knits and I must say you look very butch.Thank you for blog Delores patterns inspiration laughter and delight.

Mary ~ Awntie
Portland OregonAwntie Spyderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686423362542327576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901468.post-50031543593243315712010-02-18T23:58:43.503-05:002010-02-18T23:58:43.503-05:00You know the old riddle: "What will be left a...You know the old riddle: "What will be left after a nuclear holocaust?"
